The launch of 'The Catalyst: Rudolf von Leyden and India’s Artistic Awakening' on 18th January 2024 was hosted by the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) in Mumbai and supported by the Cultural Forum of the Austrian Embassy.
The launch took place in the presence of the Leyden family – Flora Veit-Wild, James von Leyden and Lucie Velterop von Leyden, who travelled from Germany, the UK and the Netherlands respectively.
Chief guests for the launch included Sabyasachi Mukherjee, director general CSMVS; Michael Pal, Director of Cultural Forum, Austrian Embassy; and Achim Fabig, Consul General Germany – all of whom took to the stage to say a few words.
